Flamenco shows for groups in Madrid — the complete guide 2026

By Miguel Blanco May 24, 2026 10 min read Madrid · Groups · MICE

Organising a group experience in Madrid? Flamenco is consistently the most memorable cultural activity for groups — whether you're coordinating a corporate event, a travel agency excursion, a student programme or a private celebration. This guide covers everything you need to know: venues, capacity, what's included, pricing and how to book.

Written by the team behind Cardamomo Flamenco and Tablao Flamenco 1911 — two of Madrid's most respected tablaos, with dedicated group and MICE departments handling bookings every day.

Quick summary

Both tablaos accept group bookings from 10 people upward, with dedicated pricing, flexible show times and optional add-ons including tapas, paella, flamenco masterclasses and sangria workshops. The MICE department is available daily from 10:00 to 22:30.

Why flamenco works so well for groups

Flamenco is one of the few cultural experiences that works equally well for a group of 10 or a group of 100 — and that appeals to virtually every nationality, age group and professional background. It requires no prior knowledge. It needs no translation. And it creates a shared emotional experience that is genuinely difficult to replicate with any other activity in Madrid.

For corporate groups, it offers something rare: a high-impact, culturally authentic experience that feels exclusive without being inaccessible. For travel agencies, it is consistently the highest-rated activity in post-trip surveys. For student groups, it is an entry point into Spanish cultural heritage that goes far beyond a museum visit.

"After 30 years of welcoming groups from every corner of the world, we have never had a client leave disappointed. Flamenco does not care where you are from — it finds you where you are."

The two venues — what to expect

In the heart of Madrid's Barrio de las Letras, two minutes' walk from each other, two tablaos offer the best group flamenco experiences in the city. Both are operated by the same team and share a MICE department — which means you can coordinate bookings across both venues for very large groups.

What's included in a group flamenco experience

The base group package at both venues includes a reserved block of seats, the live flamenco show (60 minutes, 12+ professional artists), and dedicated group coordination from the MICE department. From there, you can add:

Flamenco masterclass

Available at Cardamomo — a 30 to 45-minute interactive session before or after the show where a professional artist teaches the group the basics of flamenco. Activities include dance moves and footwork (zapateado), cajón rhythms, handclapping technique (palmas) and castanets. It is the single most popular add-on for corporate groups and student programmes — and genuinely transformative for people who have never experienced flamenco before.

Tapas menu

A curated Spanish tapas selection including hand-cut Iberian acorn ham, Spanish tortilla, Manchego cheese, Gordal olives and more. Vegan, vegetarian and halal options available. Served before the show.

Paella for groups

Nine varieties available — Valencian, seafood, black squid ink, vegetarian and more — prepared in the purest Mediterranean style. Available for groups as a pre-show dining option.

Sangria workshop

A guided sangria and wine tasting experience — a journey through the most authentic flavours of Spain. Ideal as a welcome activity or post-show celebration.

Frequently asked questions about group flamenco in Madrid

What is the minimum group size for a group booking?
Group rates apply from 10 people. Smaller groups can book individually through the standard ticketing system. For groups of 40 or more, the best rates and priority scheduling apply.
Can we have an exclusive private show for our group?
Yes — Cardamomo (100 seats) can be booked exclusively for private events. Contact the MICE department to discuss availability and pricing for exclusive use.
How far in advance should we book a group experience?
We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance for groups of 10–30, and 4–6 weeks for larger groups or private events. During peak season (June–September) and around public holidays, earlier booking is strongly advised.
Are the venues accessible for guests with reduced mobility?
Yes — Cardamomo is the world's first 100% inclusive flamenco tablao, with full wheelchair accessibility and adapted restrooms. Tablao 1911 is also adapted for reduced mobility. Both venues can accommodate guests with accessibility requirements without prior arrangement.
Is there a commission for travel agents and tour operators?
Yes — commissions of up to 30% apply depending on group size and show time. The full commission table is included in the group dossier, available to download above.
Ready to plan your group experience?
